Tang Soo Do is the name of the traditional style of Korean Karate we study, it is a martial art of empty hand and foot fighting. Members are trained to use their hands and feet in such a manner as to defend themselves in a combat situation with an armed or unarmed opponent. The purpose of training in this martial art is to develop coordination between mind and body. The methods of instruction are designed to help an individual build good character, integrity, self-respect and respect of others.
